OptiWeb is a web browser for Android, published by Dizcode. This policy explains what the app collects, what it deliberately does not collect, and who it shares data with. It applies to the OptiWeb Android application only.
Effective 25 September 2026.
OptiWeb does not collect, transmit or store your browsing activity. That means:
All of the above stays on your device. Browsing history and bookmarks are held in local storage on the phone and are removed when you uninstall the app. Translation and text recognition run entirely on your device using on-device Google ML Kit models; the text is never uploaded.
We record which features are used so we can improve the app: for example that a page was saved as a PDF, that a table was exported, or that the subscription screen was opened and which plan was chosen. These records contain the feature name, your subscription status and the app version. They are linked to a randomly generated analytics identifier, together with device information such as model, operating system version and language, and an approximate location (country or city) derived from your IP address by our analytics provider.
You can switch this off at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy → Share usage data. When it is off, nothing is sent, and anything not yet sent is discarded.
If you buy a subscription or the lifetime unlock, our subscription provider records the purchase and its status so the app knows what you are entitled to. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your card details.
If you allow notifications, a device notification token is stored so we can send them. You can revoke this at any time in Android's app settings.
The app reads its configuration (such as the default start page) from our server. Basic app usage and device information is collected by Google Analytics for Firebase, which may include the Android advertising identifier. OptiWeb contains no advertising, and this identifier is not used to show you ads or to build an advertising profile.
These are the services OptiWeb uses and what each receives:
| Service | Receives | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Mixpanel | Feature-usage events, analytics identifier, device information (only while usage sharing is on) | Policy |
| Google Analytics for Firebase | App usage, device information, advertising identifier | Policy |
| Firebase Cloud Firestore & Remote Config | Configuration requests | Policy |
| Firebase Cloud Messaging & In-App Messaging | Notification token, device information | Policy |
| OneSignal | Notification token, device information | Policy |
| RevenueCat | Purchase and subscription status | Policy |
| Google Play Billing | Payment processing | Policy |
| Google ML Kit (on-device) | Nothing. Translation and text recognition run on your device | Terms |
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. OptiWeb contains no advertising and no advertising SDK.
When you save a page as an image, PDF, article or spreadsheet, the file is written to your device's Downloads folder. On older versions of Android this requires the storage permission. The files are yours; they are not uploaded anywhere.
OptiWeb is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. Changes are published on this page with a new effective date.
